HIX Bypass moved from bypass.hix.ai to hixbypass.com. Its plans renew automatically: on 3 October 2026 Standard was $14.99 a month (or $9.99 a month billed yearly) for 5,000 words, and refunds were limited to three days and 1,500 words of use. Cancelling takes a step in the dashboard plus an email to support.
AI Rewriter skips the subscription. A day pass is KES 200 (about $2), a week KES 1,300 (about $10) and a month KES 2,300 (about $18), paid once by M-Pesa or card through Paystack. When the pass ends, access stops and no further charge is made.
Each rewrite returns three versions with a live AI score on each, plus a one-click meaning check, so you can see both whether it reads as human and whether it still says what you meant. Five rewrites are free on a free account with no card.
Why people switch
- Pay for the week you need. A week pass covers an essay deadline for KES 1,300 (about $10), with no renewal afterwards.
- Nothing to cancel. No saved card and no auto-renewal, so there is no dashboard step and no support email.
- Built to beat AI detectors. Three different rewrites side by side, each with a live AI score; the lowest is highlighted.
- Meaning check on every rewrite. Open the original and the rewrite together in ChatGPT, Claude or AI Studio to see what moved.
- M-Pesa in shillings. Kenyan students pay by M-Pesa. International cards work through Paystack.
HIX Bypass takes longer inputs per request, which suits long documents processed in one go. For an essay worked through section by section, checking each part as you go, 1,000 words a rewrite is the more useful unit. How to make ChatGPT text sound human covers that workflow.
Check the result either way: the free AI detector needs no account.

Is AI Rewriter cheaper than HIX Bypass?
For a deadline, yes: a week pass is KES 1,300 (about $10) once, against a monthly plan that renews. For very high volume every month, HIX Bypass's unlimited plan may work out cheaper per word, so compare on your own usage.
